Friends

So Sturgis was nothing less than a fuckin riot this year. We had the kinda fun that shouldn't be allowed and apparently isn't at the Buffalo Chip...but for me the highlight was the ride down. There was about ten of us, one poor soul in the truck and the rest of us riding. 150 miles in we stopped in Minot, Nd and picked up Ryan. Now I'm not gonna try to explain the kind of friend that Ryan is to me cause I can't, but I don't get to see him enough and definitely don't get to ride with him enough.. I was on my shovel and he was on his freshly rebuilt (from the crank up, by himself) 47 Indian Chief. Yes it's the real Trigger out of the movie HELLRIDE.. Now I don't want to take anything away from the rest of the group as it was a perfect bunch of peeps to roll with, but the day and a half rollin bar to bar with Ryan did my soul a pile of good. I like to ride fast and always have, and in the process really forgot how relaxing riding 60 - 65 can be. There is just something that's hard to put into words about riding with this kind of friend on a couple old bikes, you built yourselves, to a place with the kind of history that Sturgis holds.. It can't happen again soon enough... Big Love.

Douche Bag Pinata...

So we had a zip line or Douche Bag Pinata as Wes called it running right over the Limpnickie trailer in the Chip. Probably some of the funniest shit all week watching Wes heckle the nice folk zipping over us..Check him at Lords Of Loud. It was a pleasure and a trip to hang with ya Wes, remember Canada's just a hay field away...
