Shovel addiction...

From this....

...to this...so far...

Another shovelhead rehab project for a good customer of ours in Alberta. Started with a nice clean FL we took on trade last fall. (fondly known as THE DRAGON SLAYER!!) Myles and I stayed late and got the frame hardtailed last night...finally...windowed the neck this morning and now it's go time! Gonna run a 19" front V-Rod wheel on the back with a Coker Diamond tread and one of our 23" spools up front with a Bridgestone on/off road tire. Probably going to have to cut down the re-pop VL springer and that's about all we've got nailed down..shootin straight from the hip on this one...

random

Just stumbled across this pic on another blog. It's a shovel we transplanted to a Santee frame for a good buddy back in 04 or 05 I think, still going strong today...

Collars

Greener spun up a bunch of brass pushrod collars.. a couple sets will get our V2 logo overlaid and a couple extra sets to play with..not to mention about 3lbs of nice clean brass chips to melt....I can see a cast brass "FOREVER TWO WHEELS" air cleaner in my future!

Frame work!

Tons of framework piling up... three frames to hardtail, two of which are full builds, not enough time in the day...
Did get the rear section on Jeff's XS650 almost buttoned up. No swoopy, drop seat nonsense, just a nice simple "Brat Style" piece. Should be a cool little scooter!

Light er up!

Just got in some real cool TT&Co head and tail lights. Headlights are 4.5" with a true halogen H4 bulb. In stock in both polished and black. $120.00
Mini warbirds are about a third of the size of the crappy and oh so overpriced originals... Super small and super bright, complete with three wire LED set up. $70.00

SHORT CHOP.

A short evo chop that will be heading to Calgary this spring. 0 up, 0 out, 30* with an Acme springer. (super nice piece!) 100" evo, now kick only 5spd. We cut the starter ear off an 90-99 style trans so we would end up with a splined shaft and be able to use an Exile motor plate and bearing support. Turned out to be a real good combo for just a little extra machining... PM brakes front and rear with a foot clutch and mid-mount jockey shift. This thing is going to be a blast to ride and should be dead reliable!! More details on the fab work to come..
